After searching for months for a deal on an early 1990s MTB in NE FL, I finally found one… on FB marketplace while flying to Tucson. After a quick discussion with the seller, as well as my travel companion, a fifteen minute detour off of I-10 (in Tucson, not Jacksonville) and $120 bought me a fairly clean (7.5/10) 1990 lugged 950, with everything original except tires and bar grips. $15 at Home Depot for bubble wrap and tape, a $10 tip at an LBS for an extra bike box, and $75 to have SWA fly it home.
This thing rips! It’s super easy to pull the front end up. I’m a believer now.
