  1. I believe you just pull in the gold end and those silver pieces should retract so it slides out. I had one on a Suntour fork once and thought it was pretty slick.

  2. You just push it in. I have the same type of lock.

    Step1: open the lever on the other side

    Step2: Push in the knob from the first picture you showed.

    It’s called QLoc thru axle if you want to look it up

    When you push it in, you can turn it and it will stay. It is too easy to get it past the first side then stuck in the middle of the hub.

  4. Unscrew or loosen the lever side and push that weird lock side with a socket that just fits inside the pocket of the fork. Then it’ll pull out towards the lever side. The socket is the easiest way to depress all those lock things simultaneously that I found. If you put it on an extension you can keep them from expanding and hanging up in the wheel and stuff too if you just keep pressure on that lock
