Is there an option to connect click pedals with a standard thread size to an old school home trained which pedals have a smaller thread?

For the indoor season I got hands on a dirty cheap used Hometrainer and wanted to ride some evening sessions with my clickies. However the Hometrainers pedals have a different thread size, and the cranks are basically just metal rods. Does anyone had a low budget idea how to put my pedals on the trainer? Help is appreciated although I realise the inquiry is somewhat doomed to fail 😅
