“The base of our platform sits 6mm below the centre of the axle. Most pedals place the platform ~6mm above the centre of the axle. This effectively lowers the rider's centre of mass ~12mm offering significant stability, and control. During sudden decelerations, the pedal acts as a pendulum and swings forward cradling the rider's foot in a heels-down position. In the event that you take your foot off a pedal, our pedals are self-righting”

Given its design, would these chinese pedal “energy savers” work with the same concept of giving the pendulum motion? Id really like to try out outliers pedals but they are $300usd and that isnt accounting for shipping to my country. Id like to try the concept out, what are your thoughts on this?

I bought a pair. Waiting on delivery around February sometime. I do not buy Ali express pedals since I had them fall apart on my grocery getter bike.

If they had a bar going through the middle of that gap they’d be an interesting concept to try. But I just don’t like the idea of my foot getting jammed up in that gaping hole
