I am 193cm (6’4″) and i feel great on the frame 60cm. Actually I believe that 67cm is tooooo much for you!🙂

Can’t compare the new sloping top tube frames to the level top tubes of the past. Your 61cm sloping tube would probably be a 66-67 if it were level. To make a new frame size in carbon, it costs a fortune, so they force more folks into fewer frame sizes. In the old days to make a bigger frame you just needed longer tubes. Apples and oranges. I’m 6’7″ and I prefer vintage steel/ti to new carbon.

Hello fellow tall Romic enjoyer!! First time I’ve seen someone else post one!!

I bought my 69cm frame off someone for $100, but had the top tube replaced (they used it on a trainer and it had a pinhole rust hole right under where your chin would be), and since I was going to need a repaint, had a bunch of braze-ons along with a custom rack built….. so my Romic looks a little different, but also 531 with Cinelli lugs.

Here it is years ago on its maiden trip after I put it together. https://i.imgur.com/oKUD74G.jpeg

  4. I get it. The seat-tube angle makes the fit comfortable and accommodates the larger frame to a 6’3″ rider. I like the tight rear triangle for power efficiency. Top-tube reminds me of triathlon frames. Easy on the legs, but harder on the back. I like it since I can stretch out (long back). 44″ wheelbase?

Thanks for putting this big dog on show, here. Happy going.
