    Even if the GT was ‘better’, I wouldn’t be super keen on getting a bike from a brand that may pause warranty/production going forward. And maybe shut down eventually.

    EDIT: double checked listings yeah hell no not getting a GT with SRAM SX lol. Norco hands down, the 35 gold RL isnt that bad honestly. smoking price for that Norco.

  3. Like others said that Norco is a no brainer.

    It has a nicer frame, and nicer components. At the entry level, Shimano is head and shoulders above SRAM. It has a better fork and wheels too.

    I would definitely take the Assegai tire off though. That’s a downhill tire and will roll super slow and make the bike feel super heavy. I would put a DHF on the front instead, or, even better, take the Dissector that comes on the rear off, put it in front, and put something like a Rekon on the rear.
