I love where it snows but if i rode year round it probably would be about the same i normal wil replace them if if theres a hole or the toe starts to rip and separate from the midsole/tread

Try the pro models out, I had some of the Dakota roches that lasted almost 2 years until the souls came unglued

Are you burning holes in the top for a reason.

edit: mb looks like theyre prexisting holes but still damn

  4. My current riding shoes have lasted well over a year of riding brakeless. Going in a river with them one time did way more damage than a year of riding brakeless lol

  5. I ride mostly park and my shoes last quite a while, but im pretty good about stopping without sticking my foot in the tire (which is probably harder if you ride street more).

About 3 months is all i get but i bomb hills brake less and they become your breaks

  7. Same as with brakes, I only ever rode brake less on trails so putting a foot down wasn’t going to happen and a foot in the tyre was less likely.

  8. I wear Straye brand shoes. After a year mine gets about 1/4th as trashed as these. Probably not riding as hard as you tho.

  9. Mine always last a good while but I ride transition only pretty much so I can pump or suck in and regulate my speed. I hardly ever have to put my feel down or shove one in my back wheel. Also, I don’t do many footjams lol. Maybe a year? Year and a half? I’ve never counted before

  10. I ride brakeless and use my sneakers as brakes in all the possible/worst ways.

Nike SBs with CUPSOLE. They last entire seasons, and the grip is perfect for pedals. Look up Force 58s, Nyjah’s or Exoskeletons. If you’re patient and use the Nike app you can get them for $50-60.

  11. Ive been brakeless for the better part of 20 years and dont feel like I wear through shoes faster than anyone else.

Bro. wtf are you doing in these shoes? Looks like you tied them up to your bumper and drove around for six months dragging them. 🤯

20 minutes. Made the mistake of not switching out my Docs the other day, left a mark on the sole. My Pumas are holding up though, little hole formed at the bottom.

  14. I try to be very careful and use some techniques to not ruin everything at once, they normally last more than 1 year easily, sometimes even 2, if it lasts less than 1 year I don’t buy the same brand again
