Got a new set of Continental tires for the 28" bike of my sister. They came in a box folded in a figure 8. One of them had a pretty noticable kink. Is that one toast or will it go away once I put it on and inflate the tube?

It’s fine.
It should be fine. Working in a bike warehouse(not where this came from, as we don’t carry continental), we try to only fold beaded tires when necessary, and when they go back to form on their own.
