  2. Upton Magna didn't quite escape the industrial revolution that was going on…just a mile down the road at Upton forge the links to the Menai bridge were made. On a personal note my kids attended St Lucia's primary school in the village. I regularly ride through there on my cycle rides to Shrewsbury and beyond.
