Drop Bar Canyon MTB – Converted my old (2012) Grand Canyon 26″ 3×10 hard tail to a drop bar-mtb chimera with Shimano GRX levers/derailleur, SunRace 12x cassette, and SRAM Eagle crank. After a lot of tinkering it shifts and rides great. I don’t care how ugly it is, it’s a joy to ride 🙂

Ugly??? Where? How? This is an awesome bike.
I’ve only ever used flat bars so I may be missing part of the plot but I think it would look better if the cockpit was more horizontal and not so upright – not that the bike is ugly to begin with
I’m assuming it has to do with its position when the fork is compressed
Drop bar MTBs rule!! Just made one out of a 2014 Hardrock myself, similar color scheme too!
