What store is this? Is it the 29″ or 27.5″? I’ve been seeing lots of blowout sales for the 27.5″ version.

  2. Mountain bikes were pretty amazing in 2022, every year they bring out something new they have to sell it to you like the best thing that ever happened to MTB, because they have to keep selling their new stuff, but those forks are amazing and that doesn’t change overnight just because there are new iterations.

  3. It seems like an advantage to get the blow out one. Lots of advancements in components happen gradually and not necessarily within 2 years or so. Unless someone can persuade otherwise, I’d say go with the deal!

  4. Great deal on a grip2, especially if it’s 29. I got the least popular version for $270 back at the end of 2022. 27.5, fit4

  5. For $250? A newer 36 with x2 is $1000+. 2022 has the newer lowers and grip2. I wouldn’t hesitate. Actually, what site are these on?

  6. For what it’s worth, the only difference is the damper and the new damper is backward compatible with the 2022 chassis. You could buy a blowout fork and upgrade the damper to the modern one later if you decided you wanted to.

That’s cheaper than a full fork service. I don’t need one, but I’m tempted!

  8. damn… i need a 27.5 for my back up bike… if this wasnt a 29 i would buy it in a heart beat

  9. I just bought a new bike, I probably shouldn’t upgrade it before I even ride it right?

Wow what a steal on one of the best forks ever made, I didn’t need a new fork but now I have one. Thanks for sharing!

  11. I just bought a ‘23 stumpjumper expert from incycle for $3000. Retail is $4500. They are legit.
