    And if you’re tearing up trails, drop your tire pressure. For snow like this I’d typically want very low pressures, like 2-3 PSI, especially if it’s ungroomed. If you are “tearing up the trails” your pressure is too high, you are riding like a fool, or it’s just too mashed potato-y to ride.

  2. Get your own signs to leave around the area to “ban” skiers. 2 can play that game.

    Here, usually the cross country skiing trails are just for skiing, then you have some snowshoe/fatbiking trails, and finally some multi use where people can screw everything up with their boots.

    I try to be respectful of everyone, but I have yelled at some people in boots giving me grief for being in trails where I am supposed to be in and where they should not be.

  4. XC ski trails are groomed and people put a lot of time and effort into them. Riding your bike on them ruins the trail and is not okay to do. There are other places you can ride that doesn’t ruin something, like mountain bike trails for winter fat biking
