I was watching a magnet fishing video and they pulled a bike out of an Amsterdam canal, it wasn’t the bike that caught my attention but the rack attached to it ,does anyone know who makes this rack or do you think someone has made it themselves

lol i love this, most xbike’y thing ever is to see a bike getting pulled out of the water and be like dannng i wonder what rack that is haha
It’s a bike from Donkey Republic. They’re rental bikes that are not sold to consumers afaik.
You could contact them and see if they have info on the rack.
Not exactly the same but check out porteur racks, very strong and wide front racks originally designed for carrying newspapers

looks very similar to this one [cargo city](https://www.brodiebicycles.com/atran-velo/cargo-city)
to add to other comments; if you want to retrofit something similar without the need for special mounts there are the steco headtube racks (headtube and samba varieties):

This is peak xbike. I would recommend a trip to Amsterdam to fish for a rack yourself. The zen of fishing, the feeling of taming nature and the freshness of a self-caught rack are worth the trip. Happy hunting!
It probably came from the factory like that. Dutch bikes have hefty racks
