Finland is a land of thousand lakes (around 200,000). On a sunny spring weekend we set to ride Lake Päijänne from it’s most northern point of City of Jyväskylä all way to the very southern end to the city of Lahti. Shores of Lake Päijänne are hilly we had over 1000 meters of both descending and ascending meters. Experienced two amazing national parks and gravel, tarmac and forest trails. Overall we rode around 200km’s of some of the finest scenic routes southern Finland has to offer.

  1. A brilliant ride to kick off spring. I wish we had camping spots like that. I'd love to cycle over there one day. JP the old guy

  2. Nice bikepacking video. Good to see the familiar surroundings, I'm originally from Estonia. It's cold there but It's too hot in Florida. I'm heading up north next week to ride the famous C&O Canal trail in Washington DC. Thanks for sharing your adventure 🙂
