Took her out for a quick 20 after much hassle mounting the tires to the wheels. My first carbon road bike after riding steel with wide 650b tires the past few years, and the bike really moves well on the road.
Bought the Grizl after missing out on the Endurace in a matter of hours (sold out in S). Decided that the next best thing was the Grizl due to similar geometry and people using it as a dual road/ gravel bike. As a fairly experienced rider who rode nothing but second hand bikes, it did not disappoint. My intention is not to race, but go for long century rides and hopefully multi day tours.
Canyon’s fit recommendation was on point. The installation was really easy minus the adjustment that I made with the tires. The derailleur needed some extra indexing and its a bit confusing sometimes what parts need carbon paste vs grease. The upright position on this bike is noticeable on speedy sections, but nothing that a good aero tuck can’t fix. Bike handles smoothly and is very responsive. Seat-post is a bit creaky on some positions but from the kind folks on this forum, its an easy remedy. Very happy with this purchase!
On another note, riding on a heavy 650b steel frame made this bike real easy to maintain fast straightaways and climbs.
