Hey riders!
I need your help choosing between these two bike options: Grizl CF SL 6 AXS and Grail CF SL 7
Here are my measurements: 173.0 cm / 82.0 cm, and Canyon recommends size S for the Grizl and XS/S for the Grail. I’m wondering if anyone with similar measurements can share their thoughts on the fit for these bikes.
The 0.44 kg weight difference doesn’t matter to me since I plan to use the bike for chill, long rides. I’m mostly interested in how the Grizl feels on the road.
For context, I previously owned a Canyon Endurace 6 AL and a 1×11 Canyon MTB. While the majority of my rides were on the road, I really enjoyed the occasional trail rides with the MTB. However, due to space limitations, I’d like to avoid owning both a road bike and an MTB—especially since I don’t plan to ride hard trails anymore (I’ve become more cautious after two accidents).
I also love the simplicity of a single chainring and enjoyed upgrading to fatter tires in the past for the road, so the Endurace CF isn’t an option for me. Plus, I don’t want to spend more than 2.5K on the bike.
Lastly, I came across a post on the topic but didn’t find much useful information there. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! 🚴♂️

sounds like for your use the grizl would be perfect. I know someone using the grizl on the road and he likes it a lot. Either bike with road tires will be capable.
