i am very new to mountain biking and i got some new pedals. i was told that when you are putting on new pedals you should use grease and i got some locktite anti-sieze grease. before i use it i would like to know if this grease is good.

It’s fine, nothing bad will happen. Wipe off any residue, that stuff really marks up skin and clothes that touch it.

That’ll do. Marine grease is cheaper and works well, too.
Yes, anti-seize is fine for pedal threads (and even recommended depending on what your spindle and crank are made from).
It will help prevent seizure between parts but be careful when using it with carbon parts. It affects torque and leads to overtightening.

Any grease from an auto store will do and be cheaper than ‘bike specific’grease. All the same stuff.
What you linked to is the opposite of grease
