You can cycle from Notting Hill in west London to Chelsea entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.
The route is 4.3km long (2.7 miles) and makes use of Cycleway 3 in Hyde Park and quieter streets in the area.

Very nice route, especially for Billionaires row and the parks
i've lived nearby and cycled in the area for 10 years and didnt know i could go on that part of kensington palace gardens
Not only was that an area of London I wasn't aware of, but I got a dose of sunshine just watching it. I've learned a lot about London just 'cycling' with you!
Last week I got out on the bike and did Camberwell to King's Cross! Next time I'm definitely wearing 2 pairs of gloves haha. Komoot seems to think that cycling isn't permitted through the estate near Canterbury Place although I didn't see any signs prohibiting cycling.
The sunshine!! ❤ Exactly what I needed to see to lift my spirits after the snow and rain this weekend and returning to work tomorrow.
What a beautiful classic to your left 8:31 😍
This is one of my main routes as i live near the beginning. We sometimes use a version of this to get to Richmond park. The embassy row changes btw are recent and came as a result of complaints from the oligarchs and Russian embassy workers when they weren’t busy bombing kindergartens (sorry, random insertion of op-ed) about near misses with bikes. It is…hilarious that RBKC immediately took up the cause and added barriers etc. when we haven’t been able to get them to do anything for bikes for years. Shocker i know. Rubles talk.
Watching this all sunny is painful today… haha looking forward to nicer weather to try these routes!
Added new layers to the map for 2025 places and routes. Looking forward to all the new routes coming this year!
