I’ve had my bike for a week and went to ride a pretty gnarly black diamond and now my bike specifically the chain/derailleur/cassette area is making like a hop sound the part that secures the cassette seems to be bent I don’t know what to do or what the problem is since I’m a relatively new rider

1) clean it
2) chains and casettes sound funny when pedalled backwards. Don’t do that. Pedal it forward and check for weird noises.
3) clean it
4) lube it
5) if it’s skipping gears as you shift or jumps into a higher gear than desired, maybe barell adjuster needs some fiddling with. Perfectly common on a new bike, as cables strech.
Cables stretch so take it into the bike shop you bought it from and most likely they’ll fix it for free. ( also if your a relatively new rider why did you go down a black diamond??!)
