Hi, an uncle couple days ago gave me this bike it was abandoned in his yard for years, I am still learning to ride it and don't know much of it, what can improve my experience with it and is there any suggestions to restore it to it's days of glory and don't getting me poor? I'm a student so money is a big impediment

Mongoose is not a great brand. I wouldn’t recommend putting any money into it because for any upgrade or repair you could probably buy a better bike used.
This bike did not have days of glory. If you can’t lube and adjust it back into shape, then let it go and save your money for a decent used bike. Don’t put more than $40 into this bike.
