I was nervous about riding through my first midwest winter, but now I think I am going to miss it when it all melts.

I miss the views between the trees when the leaves come back in, and how much more open everything feels in the winter. 90% of my riding (in the Midwest) is in forests which can feel very enclosed and close in the full summer vegetation.
