Steel is real so that Rum Runner could be your do it all, slap some wider tires on it and you have tracklocross monster. Now I would keep that 725 strictly out of nostalgia and because I always wanted one. Flip a coin

I’ve a pake frame that I got in grad school in 2006. It is still my daily driver, a bit of bike of Theseus going on as I’ve replaced everything but the frame over the years. But a good steel frame will last forever.
