Finally finished this build a couple months ago, super happy with how it came out. Been wanting to build a drop bar 26er for years and finally got around to it. I definitely spent way too much on this build, but riding it around it definitely feels worth it lmao. Some of the cables are still a little long but I don’t want to deal with trimming and rerouting again haha. I’ve been watching too many Ron’s and Genosack videos as you can tell from my component choices, gearing up front is 38-24 with a suntour superbe pro front derailleur and gearing out back is 11-34 with a shimano xtr m952. Nitto Dirt drops with trp brake levers and some riv silver shifters and of course a brooks b17 on a 26.0 uno seatpost with a hite rite. I had to shim the seatpost clamp with a super thin piece of brass, when it was fully clamped the seatpost would still spin. I think I tried like 2 or three separate seatpost on this bike lmao, so if anyone is looking for a 26.2 seatpost let me know haha.

I love it when the brakes are worth more than every other part of the bike combined.
Hite-rite with a shim feels hella sus if you’re actually using it as intended. Does it actually work?
Nice build, fellow [Hite Rite enthusiast](https://imgur.com/gallery/bridgestone-mb-3-gravel-conversion-Xh4u0eO).
