Me and my friends went to decathlon to goof around with the bikes and I found this BMX 500 20 wipe and started riding it across the store. I've never rode a BMX and neither do I know anything about them but the more I rode it the more I liked it and the price is affordable (around $280). I was planning to buy it when I save up some money but before that I need to know is it any good and are there things I should know?

In all seriousness, look for second hand bikes on FB marketplace, BMX parts don’t hold value very well so for 280 you could get something much better.

This bike looks like a bmx. Thats it. For a kid riding around yea sure. Everything else nah! Dont even consider jumping this

  3. Nope, it’s a play bike made to look like a bmx at best. 1pc cranks and as always a gyro on v-brakes?! dead give away as always it’s not really a proper bmx

  4. Sadly, no … but I love the colorway. Dark green with those tires looks sick.

But no, if you want to learn how to do tricks and stuff, this is not what you want. If you just wanna ride around the neighborhood/local transportation then this is fine I guess.

Hell no. Cheap parts that bend easily. If something fails at a critical moment you are waking up in the emergency room, dealing with a broken wrist, dislocated knee etc.

This is the kind of bike where you break every piece of it, spend your money replacing everything until it’s not even the same bike. If you are lucky.

This is a temu level bike.

  7. Décathlon is trash, if you’re serious about any sport steer clear of big-box stores. Unless it’s something simple like basketball, you can’t fuck up buying basketball gear.
