Help with used bike

I found what google lens thinks is a 2012 Salsa Horsethief for $799. I don't know much about bikes obviously but from reading here the brand seems to be well liked. Is this too old, too expensive, and should I even be looking at full suspensions? For sizing I'm 5'11" and this bike is a 19.5" frame. Thanks for any info.
