I was set on buying a 2024 model Specialized Crux Comp for 2699€ but it is gone out of stock in my size.
My options are keep shopping around for a Crux, spend a bit more for a 2025 Crux Comp (GRX 1×12), a good bit more (4000€ – really max max budget for this bike) for a 2024 Crux Expert with Rival AXS and Roval carbon wheels, or look for something else in the lower price range.
I'm looking for a carbon frame (already have a steel bike), fine with 1x and mechanical shifting although Rival XPLR would be a bonus, fine using DT Swiss G1800 wheelset for gravel, want 45mm tire clearance at least, don't care about mounts for bags etc, road type geometry although not the most aggressive.
What would you go for?
I've found the 3T Exploro Ultra 2025 (GRX 1×12) for 2500€ on Bike24. Other than that I'm shopping around for Cannondale Supersix Evo SE, Orbea Terra, BMC Kaius, Basso etx
Or anyone seen sales (30% ISH) on 2024 model Crux from EU dealers?
