How much pressures/stress do you think the wheel can handle you ride it? Every crack in the pavement puts far more stress on the wheel than hanging the bike would.

No, these previously held up both my Italian bikes with no problems.

Less pressure than when you’re riding it.

No, on normal use your road bike has to take the stress of you as a rider. So let’s assume you’re 160lbs the fork has to take the stresses of stopping that much weight.
Hanging by the rim isn’t going to cause any damage. Perhaps if you loaded with racks, fenders, panniers and a lot of weight you might be able to cause some flex in the wheel.
I hang eBikes like this on a much sturdier bike holder and they weigh 45-60lbs and hasn’t been an issue either.

The big issue is making sure you’ve attached it to the wall in such a way that it can support all the weight you put on it. For my commuter that meant being certain it was installed into a stud, after a couple of failed attempts. 😅

Always been a fan of this style mount, will probably do this in my garage at some point

Do you realize how much weight is on the rim when your 250lb ass hits a pothole at 45mph?
I leaned a wheel against my car, forgot, drove forward, and it bent my entire steel body panel. The wheel was perfectly true afterward.

My dumb tired ass putting tire marks on the wall was my only issue.

I use one with no issues on a non-fancy bike.

Biggest issue is they don’t hold fat bikes
