the fork is the post mount 74mm size, the adaptor is direct mount 70mm size.
you need a “post mount to direct mount adaptor”, as i remembered there isn’t this kind of adaptor from shimano. you need to buy it from aliexpress, 3rd party brand.
there are 2 kind size of “post mount to direct mount adaptor”, +0 mm size and +20 mm size to fit the rotor. planned well before buying.

Your fork is post mount.
Your brake is flat mount.
So you’d need a post mount to flat mount adapter. These exist but aren’t super common, and they’re expensive for what is just an adapter.
They’re also not guaranteed to work in every scenario because of design differences between fork/caliper etc.
Other alternative would be to get a post mount Shimano caliper (e.g. Deore) and swap that in and do a bleed. Shimano’s stuff is pretty cross-compatible.

Yeah as other have said, caliper is flat mount, fork is post mount.
You’ll need something like this. If you frame/fork was designed for 140mm rotors, you’ll need to run 160mm rotors. If either were designed for 160mm rotors, you’ll be running 180mm, which might not fit in your bike.
A more elegant solution would be something like these:
