“Don’t! I got a broken bike (hole in frame and numerous other problems) from buycycle and they pretty much said “that’s your problem, give us the money” even if they claim to have buyers protection for cases like these. I would not recommend. It took 2 months of fighting and my bank had to deal with them in the end.
In December 2024 they contacted me again saying I didn’t pay them (I did, we reached an agreement that I would pay them a small sum so I can keep the fork) and that they will sue me. So that’s an ongoing legal battle now. 🙂 Fuck Buycycle.

Kona. 100%. A general rule of thumb ( I’m being polite, I can never see when this wouldn’t work ) is no silver stanchion ( the suspension part that moves up and down ).
Black is the standard.
Top end Fox suspension is a goldy colour but black is still standard ( rockshox might also have high end goldy-ness? )
As someone that used to work as a bike shop mechanic, I ALWAYS caution people on buying bikes online. I have heard and seen sooo many horror stories of issues with shipping damage, items not being as they appeared, components not matching listing etc. I am in no way saying don’t do it but be aware that there are risks. If you are going to buy online then you are better off getting it straight from the manufacturer. Do your research is my advice.
