      Hi from Canada Miss Amy and Mr. Kyle Tomorrow is my first day on the bike for the new year.. Indoors of course. I will be killin' it on Rouvy. I am hoping to get back my fitness over the winter months, and not let this summer be a repeat of last.. no matter how hot it gets!       Hi Amy, great you had some me time. You are really fit and well motivated. Glad cycling makes you happy .Lovely to meet with your Mum and sisters. You do what what is right for you, don't compare yourself to others. You do many things others can only dream about. You are amazing how much you have achieved on your bike. I don't drink, and was asleep before new year came in. Always do what suits you and never feel bad about it. You and Kyle are an inspiration to all of us to get out on our bikes.       I went on a 20 mile ride in the wind today (almost used the wind as an excuse not to go but glad I’m didn’t). It was so windy, that freewheeling down a long hill I didn’t need to use the brakes, and almost had to peddle just to keep up with a walker.

      Off onto a 30 mile ride tomorrow, my longest ride to date. Thanks for the inspiration! So glad I found yours and Kyle’s channel.

      I have a new goal that you may be interested in. You have to cycle the equivalent distance of 1 light year, and you have the rest of your life to complete it. Nobody has ever done this before, so it will be a world record. Good luck 😂 Well done on the 12000 by the way.

      That was a beautiful ride to end the year, shame about the wind but it beats the snow and ice up here in Scotland😉No rides for 6 days here, its a beautiful day today but too dangerous! All the best for 2025😊6561 miles with 423,098 ft of climbing was my stats for the year, you put me to shame😉

      Great work! Absolutely agree the headwind does make you stronger! Im the same on the bike I generally drink loads but on the bike i get carried away and forget to drink!

      Are we different, or are we all the same, so many of us cycling, running, hiking up some hills with our best friends (dog). Just no one knows as it’s less socially 🙂 I also make up names for things, that stick I forget what they are really called, go to bed early, don’t like social drinking. I love your Chanel, so inspiring and it makes me happy each time a new one pops up. Happy New Year to you both 😊

      Happy new year , keep up the videos …….. I’ve been a cyclist for a while but the last few years I’ve stopped going out and just been using my turbo !!!!!
      Your videos over the last few weeks have made me go out again and I just love it …….. it’s made me fall in love with my bike all over again……
      So I thank you for that !!!!!
      One question I do have is what garmin unit do you use and what mount …….. I’ve got the 810 and I need to update it

      There's an old story( I think it may be Chinese) about a miner who finds a genie and wishes to be royalty with one wish , becomes king and is happy till all the crops fail , he wishes again to be the wind and the rain and is happy until he cannot blow over the mountain. His final wish is to be the mountain and is happy till he feels a miner chipping away at him .

      Don't worry about noise and stuff stressing you out it's understandable and I can't imagine the people partying would be able to manage a 100 mile bike ride it's all perspectives

      I completely understand what you mean. A few hours of socialising is draining. Getting on the bike on your own is a way to recharge.
      I swear my social battery drains 10x faster when the sun goes down
