Unsure what parts I'll need in regards to the brakes and shifters. It's all Shimano and will be a nine speed set up with rim brakes.

Keep it simple. Sling that frame over your shoulder and take it to an independent bicycle shop and ask for a package to outfit your bike. Let the advisor know an approximate budget. You ‘ll be surprised at what you learn.
If you want 9-speed Shimano road with drop bars, it would be Sora ST-R3000 levers for 2×9-speed, or Sora ST-R3030 levers for 3×9-speed. The brake calipers in your 2nd photo should work with the Sora R3000 levers, but if you want new brake calipers, the Sora BR-R3000 rim brake calipers will do.
If you go 2×9-speed with the ST-R3000 levers, I don’t recommend using the long-arm FD-R3000 Sora front derailleur. Those long-arms don’t trim well. The newer toggle-type works better and I would use the 105 FD-R7000 instead.
Lots of things going on here. This seems like a pretty old frame so some parts standards may be different.
– 9 speed means you’ll probably be running a more modern rear wheel which might be wider than your old frame’s axle width
– Brake and shifter standards haven’t changed much over the years so most of-the-shelf options should be fine. But if you are running integrated brake/shifter combos, you will need downtube cable stoppers
– Not sure what BB you’ll need, but just make sure you get the right one. And make sure the threads in the frame are in good shape before installing them
– Lastly, that frame looks like a rust bucket. Make sure the seatpost and quill stem are removable. If they’re stuck, that means theres lots of corrosion inside. Make sure you flush the insides out of rust and gunk, then spray some rust-proofing in there before proceeding with any work
