Hello, I have a wonderful 2016 specialized AWOL comp and I would like to convert it to 2X.

Here is the link to the bike.

1) Is it even possible to convert to a 2X 11 with the current cassette and derailure?

2) how do I go about getting the correct cranks? I'd love to keep my current bottom bracket but I don't know what spindle I need? Any suggestions for a good compatible FSA (or other brand) crankset that has around 22-24 teeth in the small ring?

Thank you Reddit!

  1. If I read SRAM specs correct, you need new cassette and rear derailleur. Rival 22 RD seems to have really small max cassette (32T).

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Lack of gearing range? Your current ratios in inches (front / rear * wheel size) are 25-106. I have Shimano CUES U6000 2×10 and the ratios are 23-117.
