I’ve been worried about replacing this tire too early and wasting good tire life, but also don’t want to wait until it has too many issues.
This has about 3000 miles on it. New tire on the left for comparison.
Going on a big ride tomorrow so leaning toward replacing, but I might be overthinking it?
Advice please?

It’s done definitely replace. 3k is a good run
if you weren’t going on a big ride tomorrow, I’d say you can probably get some decent life out of it, but why risk ruining a good ride?
I’d replace it. I start getting a lot of punctures when my gravelkings start looking like this. I’ve never gotten close to that many miles out of them so good work.
They just get faster with time
For big rides definitely done. Maybe still have some life as a commuter. I had a bit more wear on mine before punctures started happening
I just replaced the same tires. Starting getting lots of holes and gouges fast. It was really breaking down fast.
