I’m installing a Rotor Aldhu crankset. Direct mount rings, BSA30 bottom bracket.
The installation manual says to align the crank arms with the part of the chainring that says “position crank arm here.” That doesn’t exist on my rings but I assume they mean over the silver nib thing. I can’t get the silver nib to align directly under the center of the arm though. I have the same crankset on another bike and it’s not aligned perfectly but it is a little closer than this. It also seems to require an extreme amount of force to tighten the drive side crank to the axle, and there’s still a decent amount of play between the arm and the ring/spider.
Anybody with experience with this crankset have any advice?

Can’t edit but I am an idiot the “position crank here” thing is in the manual. Regardless though, as expected the arms should be over the silver nib and that’s what isn’t aligning
