Received a set of beautiful Anvil 3.0 alloy pedals as a Christmas gift. When I try to install them however I just can't get them to thread correctly. The only way I can get them to "bite" it appears cross threaded. My Kona Wah Wah II's have no issue threading right back on though. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Pedals are left and right specific, with specific thread direction for each
Your threading them on the wrong sides.
Pedal threads are different depending on the right or left pedal, make sure you have them on the right side of the bike they will most likely have markings on the pedal of which side, having the bike upside down may be causing you to mix up the sides of the bike as well
How do the anvil threads compare to the konas?
Also… threads are yipped out toward the end

Are you putting the left pedal on the right crank? There should be some kind of marking on the pedals indicating which is which. If they are on the correct side the threads might be a bit finicky so you just have to thread them very carefully.
