No, very old bike with outdated parts and geometry. you can do much better than that on buy-sell sites like pinkbike

Looks like the Kashima coating on the fork is damaged. Hard to tell because it’s out of focus.

No, this bike is so outdated by today’s standards. For that much money buy a new hardtail.

Nope! Very old, very outdated. It’s hard to believe how much mountain bike design has progressed over the last 5 to 10 years, but it’s night and day. And it’s not just the parts you can update, it’s the geometry. You would not be at all happy on that bike compared to a newer one.

The pictures are terrible, hard to tell the condition. You probably need to talk them down. Probably 8-900 is about right.

Canadian mtbr here, as the first response said. NOPE! That bike is 3 generations old now. Not trying.to be an ass to the seller, but I wouldn’t pay $800 for it. Nice parts for the era, though. New bikes are just much more capable. Not being a snob either, but again firsy reply nailed it. Been riding for a long time and I would nevet go back to that gen of bike.
