Does anyone recognize this frame? My friend picked it up at an auction and is selling it to me for $40. I haven’t had a fixie in quite a few years so this should be a fun project.

Not quite sure it’s worth $40 tbh but if you have all the parts ready to go why not. Note that the rear spacing is very unlikely to be the standard 120mm, so you’d need to find a workaround to get a standard track rear wheel to fit (bending the rear triangle on an aluminium frame isn’t recommended). Regarding brand or manufacturer idk – looks like the stem says ‘icon’, which used to be Trek’s in-house brand if I’m not mistaken, but that doesn’t mean the frame itself is a Trek so idk.
looks a lot like one of those GMC Denali branded road bikes that were sold at Wal-Mart, but with the braze ones ground off, a different fork, and new paint. The older blue/silver model had the same 2-bolt seatpost clamp, dropouts, and shaped tubes. Later models had a vertical dropout with derailleur hanger.
