Hi everyone,
I’ve come across a Canyon aeroad with full ultegra di2 12s being sold for €3500, but it comes without wheels, brake discs, and the cassette. For context, I already have a great pair of Fulcrum 55mm wheels that would fit perfectly on this bike, so I’m not too worried about the wheels themselves.
However, I’m struggling to figure out if €3500 is a fair price considering those parts are missing. With just the frame, groupset, etc., does this seem like a good deal? Or should I be negotiating the price further? I’ll need to buy the cassette and 2 discs (200€ approximately)
Thanks in advance for your input—it’ll really help me make a decision!

6500€ for the bike currently from Canyon. Comes with a 4iii PM. Not sure if that is standard on the bike you are looking at. Replacing the wheels is right around 2k€. To me the value of the rest of a similar new bike is around 4k given the other parts you need to supply. For recent used bikes I expect prices to be 50%-75% of the new value. So around 2k-3k is what I would expect for used.
I know not of the European market but I ask what would 3500 euro get you in your area. if you can something similar, then less of deal, if you can’t find anything closer, better deal
What good is a bicycle without wheels?
If you have to ask it’s probably over priced.
I just built a 2016 carbon Fuji SL with new Boyd wheels. Total cost was right under 1500.
Sounds… sketchy as hell? Why it has no wheels?
And if it has no wheels – you need to buy… wheels. Did you check DT Swiss website to check how much they cost?
