Hi everyone, I spent 11 out of the last 12 months living on my bike, cycling across Asia, and wanted to share some of my favourite photos I took.
I spent last winter in the Middle East, headed to Central Asia in spring, spent the summer in Mongolia and the Tibetan Pleateau, autumn in Korea & Japan, and recently headed to Southeast Asia for this winter.
Initially I was using a Kona Sutra SE but eventually switched to a more off-road capable Surly Ogre.
In 2025 I’m planning to spend around 6 months in the Himalayas and Karakoram, both bikepacking and hiking. You can follow along on my [IG](https://instagram.com/maxroving) if you’d like

Incredible photos. Did you just set up a little camera holder thing for those selfies and then trigger it somehow? Almost none of my travel photos have me in them. 😢
