What’s the spindle made of? Wanted to get a crankset for a friend and it was marketed as “lightweight” but the spindle was aluminium so that was a pass. Went with a regular one made of steel.

I own aluminium ixf cranks and they’ve absolutely been thrashed to shit including doing end to end 1000km bike pack not an issue at all. +1 for Chinesium

The shimano 24mm spindles are steel.
However anyone using DUB standard or 30mm is making them out of aluminium.
