The thing about muzzle loaders and black powder in general is you can add as much black powder or black powder sub as you want and as long as there are no cracking or other damage in the barrel or a airgap between the projectile and powder or a obstruction the "firearm" in question won't blow up. The most you risk is furniture or stock breakage under recoil and of course bodily harm from said recoil. Now if you put the wrong powder such as modern smokeless that is a different story. Now this goes for modern made reproductions with modern metals and not original pieces.

  2. Warnimg⚠! -this is extremely dangerous do not try it! Theese guns are not designed for modern bullets which doesnt make a big difference but that much gunpowder can cause a chain reaction of explosions destroying the gun your hand and maybe your life!
