    Fidlock is cool, and we need more fidlock posts, but… a bottle under the downtube? If it’s necessary to put something there, I’d rather replace the bottle with a toolbag, to reduce my dirt consumption. 🙂

    I’m just not a fan of paying £50 for a bottle and proprietary cage when the ones I already have work great.

  4. I ran Fidlock bottles for about half a season… I found them to be a solution searching for a problem. They are exorbitantly expensive compared to regular bottles, so buying spares adds up quickly. If you don’t have a perfect frame fit to reach for them, they are difficult to twist and unlatch while riding rough terrain.. especially while trying to do it without looking.

    After some soul searching, I went back to my trusted Lezyne cages and haven’t regretted it with zero lost bottles, and no fiddly interface.
