I am in the process of upgrading my Cannondale bad boy 3.
I changed the bb to an Easton 30mm bb and tried to fit the Easton ea90 cranks on it but it seems like they are to narrow and the arms touch the chainstay when spinning…
Now when I look at the crank arms that were on the bike (cheap Shimano cranks) they are bent to make the distance between pedals wider.
Is there any way to get a wider spindle for this crankset or is it unposible to use with this crankset with this frame?
If there is no way to use it, do you have any recommendations on a crankset that would fit this frame and would also fit the 30mm bb I already have?

You’re certain all the required spacers are in place? Cannondale loves to build frames that require dealer knowledge to outfit with new BBs and cranks.
Does it have a 73mm bb shell? That would be my first guess since the arms for road are all kinda the same width.
Edit: you may be able to fit a race face spindle (probably for a turbine or aeffect) to space out the arms, but that will come at the cost of chain line and figuring out ad hoc spacers to preload the bottom bracket
I only know from the Shimano BB‘s that they’re using on the right side 2 spacers and on the left 1 for the frame width of 68 mm…
Easton/Race Face have a variety of spindle lengths for those crank arms. First step is take it apart and figure out which length you have, then get a wider one. They’re kind of hit-or-miss as far as availability—not sure what their issue is. If you don’t know, the spindle is separate from both arms.

Q-factor on your old crank is 180mm and your new one is 149. You are going to need a mtb crank with wider q-factor to fit.

So from what I understand, the race face uses the same type of spindles.
I could either get some other crankarms from race face that are shaped differently to fit my frame and use it with this spindle, or get a longer spindle and try to fit the current Easton arms on it.
Or just get some other crankset with different spindle.
The current spindle seems to be the 129mm version. The bb I have is 68mm/ 30mm.
Do you have any recommendations on the cranksets that would fit this bb and frame?
I live in Japan so not every brand is available here.
Edit: looks like the race face turbine would fit it with 180mm qfactor
