For what it’s worth, I would put the arm of the rack as close to, if not against, the fork as possible. If the arm shakes or your tire goes flat when it is in this position, you are at higher risk of a bad time.
(At least, that was important for us to share at my last shop)

Can you please tell me what rack that is? I am planning to install full fenders for my bike and this could work even with full fenders.

I don’t mean to be rude but I’ve had a bike fall off because of the front wheel that way. It isn’t correct.

Fantastic rack, I have one and love it, but for heaven’s sake get that arm next to the fork! It’s not secure the way it is now.
