I have a '21 polygon cascade 3 and im wondering about hangers. I've been googling and searching most of the day.
Can I get a standard hanger in replacement for my direct attachment hanger or is the bike made to only work with driect attach hanger only? I am wanting to put on a box components box 3 set and switch to a 1x system, but says the deraileur won't fit on direct attachment hangers.
The current hanger looks like a betd #27, but I don't know if that hanger itself is direct or standard.
Sorry if it seems like stupid question, new to working on my own bike.

You have a standard hanger.
Do you have a 7 speed drivetrain? If so, you likely have a rear wheel for freewheels, not a freehub/cassette system. Without a new rear wheel you can’t upgrade to 9 speed cassettes.

Another issue is that it looks like you have a freewheel so you’ll need a new wheel with a HG 8-11 speed freehub if you want to upgrade to the Box 3 groupset.
