Marin. Eldridge Grade ’97. Love this thing to bits. My “gravel racer” has been demoted since getting this thing. I love riding it, I love tinkering with it. It’ll never be finished, I’m waiting for 11s parts for an upgrade as we speak. The thing I’m most proud off on this bike? A lot of DIY thingies.
* Fenders are mounted with rubber spacers, sanded, to fit along the tyres nicely. Mud flaps are also DIY (thanks Stridsland).
* I’ve used hose clamps to securely attach the Wald 137. Less chance for someone to just remove the Voile strap or cut the zip ties.
* Most of the screwed-in components use Hexlox, along with wheels.
* And the most recent addition: lights. I’ve bought e-bike lights (12V) and purchased a 12V USB-C PD (power delivery) trigger from Ali. Now I can power my lights from a power bank! Genius!
