Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a faulty weld on a new bike: Orbea Occam H30 2024. I already checked with the bike shop I bought it from and they said it’s just a visual imperfection which doesn’t affect the frame’s structure. Is this true or should I be worried and reach out to Orbea directly?

Its just an issue with the paint rather than the weld.
The bike is fine.

Looks like a little bit of undercut on the left side but not terrible. Whoever ground the side welds down didn’t do a very good job blending it in 🤷🏽♂️
