Loved this…….several of go every year to the Netherlands for a cycling long-weekend. We stay at one hotel, a different one every year, and we use it as a base to explore the area doing about 40 to 50 miles a day. We use the numbered route……….Numbered way-points, for navigation. Try exploring the heathland north of Appledoorn…………We also get the DFDS ferry from North Shields to Ijmuiden. 2023 will be our 12 year. We “lost” 2 years because of Covid restrictions.
