Well. Where to start the story. Got the frame a couple months ago in November got parts from online, LBS and an old bike. Got it together ten days before Xmas and had a road trip to SC coming up. Get down here take it on a maiden shakedown ride on the wharf for pics then down cliff drive to find another place for pics.
Come back for lunch and there’s all departments of ER vehicles at the end of the wharf, ask what happened and hear what happened. See the bathrooms at the mouth of the river and pillar scattered in the surf. Apparently a 30-40? ft swell hit it and gone.
Glad things timed out and I wasn’t on it. Othewise, pedal, pedal, Pedal!
