Got this from a house clean out, I have 0 knowledge on bikes and just curious what the value of this would be. Super light weight (compared to normal bikes i'm used to, not sure about high end ones) and everything seems in working order. Not looking for offers, just knowledge. Apologies if a post like this isn't allowed, and thanks in advance!

  1. Need pictures of the shifters, front and rear derailleurs. Model numbers would be even better and those are stamped on the metal somewhere. For a front derailleur it’s stamped on the back of the cage and will be something like FD-R___ if Shimano.

Frame by itself is probably worth $1000 ish if no issues. Look at completed listings for Seven brand frames on EBay. It’s a small boutique frame maker so they demand more than the typical Trek or Specialized.

Hard to evaluate appropriate worth of parts, even if we had the full build list, since you don’t know how much mileage, wear and tear.

  2. $900 as a bike, $1100 parted out. Good, average titanium rim-braked frame. Good shifters. Cheap wheels. Limited tired clearance.

You’ll want to replace everything rubber (tires, tubes, brake pads, bar tape), cables and housing, and the chain. Possibly the chainrings and cassette. I’d also want to regrease the headset, true the wheels, WD40 the shifters, and a dozen smaller tasks to bring it up to par. Or you could just air the tires and hope for the best.
